Incontinence 5th Edition 2013
The 5th International Consultation on Incontinence was held in Paris in February 2012, made possible by the generous support of the European Association of Urology. The four previous ICI Consultations were held as stand-alone meetings. However, by holding the 5th ICI during the annual meeting of EAU this made possible the attendance of a wider range of participants than had previously occurred.

Bladder Cancer 2012: 2nd Edition
Bladder cancer is the second most common malignancy of the genitourinary tract. Its protracted course and requirement for frequent monitoring is responsible for the huge costs involved with the care of patients with BC. It has been stated that it is one of the most expensive cancers. It is a heterogeneous neoplasm and even within some categories there are significant differences in behaviour among different histologic variants. These nuances are critical to proper management. Unlike prostate cancer the level of awareness for this neoplasm is quite low among not only the public but primary care physicians as well. This is one of the primary problems that leads to a delay in diagnosis which may adversely impact survival in men and women with high grade BC.

Today we have a clear concept of sexual medicine and how to define this medical discipline. But historically the unification of sexuality and medicine was not a given condition. Medicine was mainly focused on human reproduction and how to prevent and treat sexually transmitted diseases (STD).
